Remove the old reeds and discard them. Reeds saturate over time and hold the fragrance that came before, so each refill starts with a fresh set.

Wash the inside of the ceramic bottle with soap and water, then let it dry completely. Any water left behind will dilute the new oil.

Pour in the refill and place the new reeds in the bottle.

Always set a coaster under your reed diffuser. Fragrance oil will mark wood and stone if it runs down the side.
